SkinBit members undergo complete total-body and dermoscopic imaging at a clinic. Board-certified dermatologists then read the full record, map notable lesions, flag findings that warrant biopsy, and create a structured report.

The work is store-and-forward and remote. Reads are performed from your own environment, on your own schedule. This is a completeness-first model rather than a volume-first one. Active licensure in California or Florida is required at the start; SkinBit covers licenses required as the platform expands.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured remote reads of total-body and dermoscopic image sets.
• Identify melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers, premalignant lesions, and benign findings.
• Map and annotate findings and track longitudinal change.
• Document conclusions in precise, patient-accessible clinical language.
• Flag cases warranting biopsy or expedited referral.
• Participate in clinical calibration and peer-review processes.
• Obtain additional state licenses as the reading network expands.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Dermatology (ABMS or AOA); candidates actively completing certification may be considered.
• Active California or Florida medical license at the start.
• Formal dermoscopy training or 5+ years of active hands-on dermoscopy practice.
• At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience; 5+ years strongly encouraged.
• Strong written clinical communication and comfort with asynchronous digital-imaging workflows.
