Clinic Coordinator / Medical Assistant

Define what a SkinBit visit feels like as the trusted, consistent presence in our Palo Alto clinic.

SkinBit is a membership-based clinical skin-screening service. Members visit a clinic where a complete, high-resolution record of their skin is captured and reviewed by board-certified dermatologists.

This is not a front-desk rotation or a high-volume medical-assistant position. You will own the day-to-day clinic experience, maintain the space to a premium standard, and ensure every visit feels built around the member. The Palo Alto clinic is formative, so this hire will help write the operating playbook rather than merely inherit it.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the clinic, maintain the space, and set the daily tone.
• Welcome and check in members; manage scheduling, intake, and pre-visit preparation.
• Assist with skin-imaging sessions, patient positioning, equipment operation, and image-quality protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR records and coordinate member follow-up with the dermatology team.
• Answer member questions warmly and escalate clinical questions appropriately.
• Manage supplies, equipment hygiene, and overall clinic readiness.
• Operate independently and exercise sound day-to-day judgment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a clinical, medical-wellness, or premium-health environment.
• Comfort working as the primary on-site person without constant direction.
• Warm, confident one-to-one communication with members.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and the ability to learn clinical software and equipment quickly.
• CMA or RMA credential is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
• Spanish/English bilingual ability is a meaningful advantage.
• Based in the Bay Area with reliable access to Palo Alto.
